Requirements
- Thorough understanding of classical signal processing fundamentals such as filtering and estimation.
- Knowledge of learning-based signal processing including image denoising, super-resolution, and 2D/3D segmentation.
- Ability to apply mathematical insights like Toeplitz matrices and spectral bandwidth to design robust numerical algorithms.
- Experience working with high-throughput data inputs in latency-sensitive, resource-constrained embedded environments.
- Comfort with rapid prototyping in high-level languages like Python, Julia, or MATLAB.
- Ability to develop and maintain production-quality software.
- Understanding of real-world sensor data modalities including camera, LiDAR, and radar.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel signal processing techniques for sensor data acquisition, fusion, and filtering.
- Optimize signal processing algorithms for deployment on parallel computing architectures such as CPU, GPU, DSP, and specialized accelerators.
- Collaborate with autonomy and hardware teams to ensure system robustness.
- Develop scalable, practical solutions to handle massive sensor data with low latency.
- Contribute to high-impact research papers for top conferences and journals.
