Requirements
- Proven experience as a backend engineer designing and building distributed systems and cloud-based services in production.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including influencing architecture, setting technical standards, and enabling other engineers.
- Strong proficiency with AI workflows.
- Proficiency with Python/FastAPI, TypeScript/Node.js, or a similar modern backend language.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs or platforms.
- Solid understanding of security concepts and practices.
- Strong communication skills and a practical, outcome-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product, Design and Engineering to turn high-level product goals into iterative plans, shape scope, and contribute to development in a full-stack capacity.
- Own the technical vision, architecture, and expansion of the backend systems powering Coalition Control.
- Raise standards for code, code reviews, testing, and reliability, leveraging AI-assisted workflows.
- Guide other engineers through architectural trade-offs.
- Provide thoughtful yet speedy code reviews and share knowledge with others.
