Requirements
- Proven experience as a backend engineer designing and building distributed systems and cloud-based services in production.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, including influencing architecture, setting technical standards, enabling other engineers, and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Strong proficiency with AI workflows, Python/FastAPI, TypeScript/Node.js, or a similar modern backend language and framework.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs, as well as integrating with third-party APIs or platforms.
- Strong communication skills and a practical, outcome-oriented approach to problem solving.
- Experience with React.js is a plus.
- Solid understanding of security concepts and practices, with experience in a cybersecurity domain is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product, Design and Engineering to turn high-level product goals into iterative plans, shape scope, and contribute to development in a full-stack capacity with depth and expertise in backend.
- Own the technical vision, architecture, and expansion of the backend systems powering Coalition Control, while contributing to other Coalition Security Products.
- Raise our standards for code, code reviews, testing, and reliability, leveraging AI-assisted workflows to build faster and reduce toil.
- Guide other engineers through architectural trade-offs, provide thoughtful yet speedy code reviews, and share knowledge with others.
