Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience in front-end focused programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6).
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks (LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular) and CSS.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to breakdown and prioritize tasks.
- BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong focus on user experience and usability.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias towards action in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills for working in a fully remote environment.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and Thrift is a plus.
- Understanding of large-scale web applications and techniques for high RPS is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering counterparts to build novel products and features.
- Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and mentor team members.
- Own the full development cycle for major projects including design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Drive planning, development, and implementation of critical projects across web architecture.
- Enable a culture of metrics-led execution with a focus on operational excellence and system observability.
- Partner with leadership to develop roadmaps that achieve product and engineering goals.
