Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience in front-end focused languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6).
- Experience with one or more front-end web frameworks (LIT, Polymer, React, Vue, or Angular).
- Proficiency with CSS.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong focus on user experience and usability.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias towards action in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills and experience partnering in a fully remote environment.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, or Thrift (plus).
- Understanding of large-scale web applications and high-traffic performance techniques (plus).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to build novel products and features.
- Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows and mentor engineers.
- Own the full development cycle including design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Drive planning, development, and implementation of critical web architecture projects.
- Enable a culture of metrics-led execution with a focus on operational excellence and system observability.
- Partner with leadership to develop roadmaps that achieve product and engineering goals.
