Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Professional experience leading, overseeing, or managing an implementation, project, or complex process from start to finish.
- Experience performing data analysis and working with analytic tools or process/quality improvement.
- Excellent analytical, logical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong requirement gathering, documentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, WebEx, and PowerPoint.
- Healthcare domain experience preferred.
- Experience creating and maintaining complex T-SQL queries, views, and stored procedures preferred.
- Microsoft SQL Server experience preferred.
- Coding certification (e.g., CCS, CIC, CPC) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze multi-dimensional medical, provider, pharmacy claims data, and enrollment data to assess trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to translate business information needs into deliverable requirements and specifications.
- Serve as a liaison between Operations, R&D, and IT to guide organizational improvement and educate staff.
- Create complex queries and analyze results to determine root causes and prepare business requirements for system functionality changes.
- Coordinate and complete assigned projects, including defining project scope, setting deadlines, and assigning tasks.
- Train and mentor team members to build a reputation as a trusted advisor in data, workflow, and technology.
- Provide analysis, recommendations, and feedback to business process owners, leadership, and the IT department.
