Requirements

  • 10+ years experience in B2B enterprise software organization(s)
  • 7+ years’ experience working in Product Management
  • Meaningful experience in a platform, infrastructure, or technical Product Management role
  • Track record of successful SaaS based products developed and launched through your leadership
  • Energy/utility industry experience and knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of and experience with Agile software development methodology
  • Skilled in both written and verbal communication with the ability to transition seamlessly between technical and business content areas
  • Strong stakeholder management and comfortable prioritizing and resolving competing priorities
  • Highly organized with ability to stay on top of multiple projects, teams and deliverables
  • Ability to adapt to changing internal and external priorities
  • Undergraduate degree in STEM field, or equivalent experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic roadmap for GridUnity's Intelligence Platform components and coordinate delivery timing with the Director of Product Management.
  • Balance platform prioritization against the feature velocity Product Owners need; present and defend those trade-offs to leadership.
  • Set platform success metrics — API adoption, integration uptime/reliability, time-to-build for a new module, PO/developer satisfaction — and report against them.
  • Act as the primary product partner to infrastructure engineering.
  • Write epics, requirements, and acceptance criteria for platform initiatives; run backlog refinement and release planning with infrastructure engineering.
  • Own the core platform object model and its extension framework to support all new customers and regulatory requirements across the U.S.
  • Evolve and govern the developer API portal so internal Product teams and external partners can build against the growing set of platform capabilities.
  • Define integration requirements, SLAs, and support models with engineering, security, and customer-facing teams.
  • Champion performance, scalability, multi-tenant security, auditability, and regulatory/data compliance as first-class platform requirements.
