Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent education and work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in a professional technical environment.
- 6+ years of professional software design and development experience.
- General knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC.
- Experience with Entity Framework, WPF, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML/XSLT.
- Familiarity with IIS, MSMQ, NServiceBus, and Visual Studio.
- Proficiency with source control tools such as Git or Team Foundation Server.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles, preferably Agile/Lean or Kanban.
- Ability to effectively work within a team environment.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize for a team of developers.
Responsibilities
- Develop flexible, maintainable solutions using established guidelines and standard practices.
- Solve development problems through design and practical experience.
- Review, modify, enhance, and maintain existing systems by fixing issues, remediating security vulnerabilities, and improving performance.
- Participate in planning and user story analysis by providing feedback and understanding user requirements.
- Assist in solving business problems by implementing technical solutions based on solid design principles.
- Document software changes, best practices, and standards.
- Teach and mentor other software engineers.
- Plan and prioritize tasks for a team of developers.
