Requirements
- Experience designing and shipping consumer-facing digital products
- Experience with AI products, productivity tools, or chat applications
- Experience significantly improving or rethinking an existing product experience
- Strong ability to think in systems and interaction patterns rather than individual screens
- Strong product and design judgement
- Comfortable designing while the product itself is still being defined
- Ability to form clear opinions and adapt them when the evidence changes
- Understanding of when to prioritize speed and pragmatism over polish
Responsibilities
- Lead a significant redesign of the existing Bolter product
- Build and own Bolter’s design system from the ground up
- Define the interaction patterns for creating, understanding and steering AI agents
- Shape the experience across the workspace and agent-generated applications
- Make pragmatic trade-offs between speed, clarity and craft
- Move quickly from ideas to working designs and strengthen what proves useful
- Help shape the early design and product team as Bolter grows
