Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive finance experience in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or technology-enabled businesses.
- Experience building and operating finance functions in Series A+ or growth-stage startups.
- Strong background in FP&A, accounting oversight, and financial operations.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Experience partnering closely with executive leadership and Boards.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as QuickBooks, Brex, Ramp, Carta, and HubSpot (or similar).
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in the benefits and wellness industry is preferred.
- MBA, CPA, or equivalent credentials are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Act as the strategic finance partner to the CEO, COO, and Board.
- Own and evolve FP&A, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling.
- Lead and oversee accounting operations to ensure accurate, timely reporting and compliance with GAAP.
- Build scalable financial processes, controls, and systems for a B2B2C fintech business.
- Prepare and deliver actionable financial reporting for executive leadership and the Board.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Commercial, Client Success, People, and Legal teams.
- Support go-to-market efforts through pricing analysis, revenue forecasting, and unit economics.
- Manage tax, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance.
- Contribute to capital planning, investor communications, and fundraising preparation.
