Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; emphasis in business or life science preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ years of contract drafting and negotiation experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical or CRO industry preferred.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
- Familiarity with fee generation and payment schedules.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project agreements including Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and Confidentiality Agreements.
- Review Data Protection Agreements (DPAs) and other privacy-related contracts.
- Independently review and negotiate all project agreement terms and conditions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact to facilitate legal review processes.
- Track and report on contract review status with weekly updates.
- Coordinate subcontractor agreements to ensure compliance with sponsor agreements.
- Develop and negotiate change orders for project agreements.
- Perform cash flow analysis and generate payment schedules in coordination with Finance.
- Lead meetings with sponsors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
