Requirements
- 8–12+ years of progressive People Operations, HRIS, HR technology, payroll operations, or related experience.
- Senior ownership experience in complex operational environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading a major HRIS implementation or transformation.
- Direct Rippling experience strongly preferred; ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus.
- Strong payroll fluency including controls, multi-state considerations, audits, and data accuracy.
- Experience leading and developing operational team members and creating clear accountability.
- Strong systems and data orientation, including process architecture, reporting, and integrations.
- Proven ability to redesign workflows through automation, AI, or self-service rather than digitizing manual processes.
- Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for problem solving and workflow design.
- Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills with a bias toward durable, scalable solutions.
- Ability to partner credibly across Finance, IT, Security, Legal, and senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Own the People technology ecosystem and HRIS architecture, including governance, integrations, and vendor performance.
- Serve as internal business owner for HRIS modernization, leading requirements, migration, and stakeholder partnership.
- Manage payroll governance, ensuring accuracy, controls, audit readiness, and effective issue resolution.
- Design and implement scalable workflows for the employee lifecycle, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance.
- Lead and develop operational team members, clarifying roles, decision rights, and escalation paths.
- Drive AI-enabled operational transformation to eliminate manual bottlenecks and improve data quality.
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Legal, and Security to align on operational risks and reporting.
