Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
  • 7–10+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally within operations, supply chain, automotive, remarketing, or reconditioning.
  • Demonstrated experience leading operational programs at scale, including standardizing processes across geographically distributed locations.
  • Strong people-management experience, with the ability to coach, motivate, evaluate, and develop teams.
  • Proven expertise in vendor management, outsourcing strategy, contract/service negotiations, and KPI/SLA development.
  • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and margin analysis.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma preferred).
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach.
  • Willingness and ability to operate effectively in a remote environment while supporting a geographically distributed branch network.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end make-ready and vehicle enhancement lifecycle, establishing clear ready-for-sale standards, operating procedures, quality requirements, and task guidelines.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Make-Ready Analysts, setting priorities, workloads, objectives, and performance expectations.
  • Lead the vendor strategy for reconditioning and enhancement services, including vendor onboarding, performance management, and KPI/SLA development.
  • Partner with Procurement and Finance to support negotiations, evaluate build-versus-buy decisions, control costs, and improve vendor economics.
  • Oversee program budgets, forecasts, spending, and billing processes while identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
  • Collaborate with regional and branch operations to implement standards, provide coaching, and roll out new processes and tools.
  • Develop training materials, feedback mechanisms, and operational forums to drive consistent execution across the branch network.
  • Establish dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics focused on cost, cycle time, quality, and program growth.
