Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/MS preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, marketing automation, or related disciplines.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, and website content management systems.
  • Experience managing multiple complex initiatives with cross-functional coordination.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning initiatives from initiation through completion.
  • Knowledge of digital promotions across first-party and third-party assets, email delivery, and media optimization.
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and data governance (e.g., CCPA, CPRA, GDPR).
  • Strong analytical capabilities to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Strong budget management capabilities, including planning, tracking, and reconciliation.
  • Ability to travel up to 25–30% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise to shape the integration of marketing automation technologies.
  • Develop and oversee comprehensive marketing automation and non-personal promotional strategies.
  • Identify and evaluate best practices in journey orchestration and digital channels.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and agency teams to execute omnichannel initiatives.
  • Collaborate with compliance stakeholders to ensure materials are reviewed and approved.
  • Manage agency relationships and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Support annual budget planning and resource allocation.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs using data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies.
