Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs, with a strong focus on Software Asset Management.
  • 7+ years of demonstrated success delivering high-impact, multimillion-dollar programs.
  • Deep knowledge of SAM principles, software lifecycle management, licensing models, and cost optimization.
  • Expert-level knowledge of FlexeraOne, including backend capabilities.
  • Familiarity with major software vendors and cloud platforms: Oracle, Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS.
  • Proven experience managing software audits and maintaining audit readiness.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to brief VP- and CTO-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and rally diverse groups.
  • Proven experience using AI and automation technologies like Azure OpenAI, GitHub Actions, or Power Automate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead high-impact, high-risk Software Asset Management programs, establishing governance, milestones, deliverables, and accountability.
  • Align SAM programs with enterprise priorities including software cost containment, compliance, and digital transformation.
  • Drive the use of FlexeraOne, automation, and AI-powered analytics to streamline software lifecycle management.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including Vendor Management, Finance, Procurement, and Legal.
  • Facilitate executive-level governance and steering committees to translate complex risk data into actionable narratives.
  • Manage software audits and audit-readiness programs to proactively identify and mitigate licensing exposure.
  • Define and track KPIs covering cost savings, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Mentor team members and develop scalable playbooks and best practices.
