Requirements
- BA/BS degree required; healthcare-related degree (MS, RN, PA, PharmD, PhD) strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in pharma, biotech, medical, or diagnostic roles.
- Strong virtual presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, virtual meeting technology, and digital engagement tools.
- Experience collaborating with KOLs, labs, and diverse internal/external stakeholders.
- Strong diagnostic and scientific acumen.
- Strategic thinking and operational capability.
- Prior experience in rare or ultra-rare diseases is preferred.
- Knowledge of ophthalmology is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Educate healthcare providers on genetic testing initiatives and sponsored programs.
- Identify educational needs among the IRD healthcare community.
- Provide information on high-quality gene analysis labs and accurate result interpretation.
- Partner with internal cross-functional teams to implement U.S. diagnostic strategy.
- Identify and engage with Genetic Testing Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Attend conferences to stay updated on diagnostic programs and testing.
- Provide expert guidance on IRD gene panels and test requisition forms.
