Requirements
- 5 or more years of professional design experience building end-to-end products.
- Portfolio featuring at least 3 complete end-to-end design projects.
- Hands-on experience personally building and owning token-based design systems.
- Ability to reason about design systems expressed in code (HTML, CSS, tokens).
- Fluent English proficiency for async, written-first communication.
- Comfort with AI design tools (e.g., Figma AI features, Claude) or high interest in working with AI.
- Availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- Experience with React or Figma variables is a plus.
- Background in design QA, model evaluation, or data annotation is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Prompt AI models across multiple turns to generate and refine design work from a brief.
- Build and evolve complete, production-grade design systems including token sets, component libraries, and golden screens.
- Implement design systems as coded component libraries using React, Storybook, and token pipelines.
- Evaluate AI outputs for design-system coherence, visual quality, and brief fit.
- Compare competing AI outputs, select the stronger version, and write clear rationale and reproduction prompts.
- Vote and rank preferences to train AI models on cohesive, high-quality design systems.
