Requirements
- 3–5+ years of relevant Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Finance Operations experience.
- Strong Google Sheets and/or Excel skills.
- Experience with financial records, invoices, payments, expenses, or reconciliations.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Wise, Stripe, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently.
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support the twice-monthly contractor payroll process including verification of timesheets, invoices, rates, and adjustments.
- Prepare and review client invoices, track outstanding receivables, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Perform regular reconciliation of financial records, spreadsheets, and expense trackers.
- Maintain and improve complex Google Sheets and Excel trackers, including building formulas and finance reports.
- Document and improve finance SOPs, checklists, and workflows.
- Investigate financial issues independently and escalate concerns appropriately.
