Requirements
- 3+ years of direct people management experience including hiring, performance management, and career development.
- 8+ years of experience in product security, embedded device security, application security, or offensive security.
- Hands-on depth in firmware/binary analysis, penetration testing, threat modeling (TARA), and SBOM/vulnerability management.
- Prior exposure to formal leadership training or structured management programs.
- Proven ability to manage technical delivery functions, including utilization, SLAs, SLOs, and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of EU Cyber Resilience Act, IEC 62443, FDA cybersecurity requirements, NIST SSDF, and VEX/SBOM formats.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers, executives, and regulators.
- Experience using LLMs and agentic tools for technical and management work.
- Must be comfortable with occasional travel for customer reviews and team gatherings.
Responsibilities
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop PSC Engineers, including setting objectives and conducting performance cycles.
- Own execution of all engagements, from technical scoping and staffing to deliverable review and debrief.
- Manage team capacity, utilization, and billable work against the demand pipeline.
- Stand up and scale PSIRTaaS and Standards and Regulations Compliance-as-a-Service managed services.
- Collaborate with the Chief Product Security Engineer to integrate field-built tooling into the product platform.
- Serve as a senior delivery contact for strategic accounts and partner with Sales on technical scoping.
