Requirements
- 5+ years of related Full Stack software engineering experience, with a focus on frontend development.
- Experience developing enterprise-grade, cloud-based web applications.
- Working proficiency with AI-assisted development tooling (coding agents) and associated workflows.
- Strong knowledge of web application architecture patterns, trade-offs, and pitfalls.
- Familiarity with frontend Javascript libraries and frameworks, specifically ReactJS.
- Experience with relational database technologies, specifically Postgres.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with Designers, Engineers, and Product Managers.
- Proven ability to articulate and break down information for diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, and professional start-up environment.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience.
Responsibilities
- Write client-side interfaces using Javascript/React and TypeScript.
- Develop server-side functionality using Ruby/Rails, Elixir/Phoenix, or NodeJS.
- Drive the creation, shipping, and maintenance of capabilities across the Opal Platform.
- Integrate AI-assisted development tools into daily workflows while maintaining high standards for code review.
- Participate in the full product creative process from design meetings to technical architecture and implementation.
- Develop APIs, web applications, and microservices including JSON:API compliant endpoints with OpenAPI contracts.
- Leverage technologies like Docker, Redis, Postgres, and ElasticSearch for scalable application development.
