Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences or health-related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, biochemistry, nursing, biomedical or veterinary sciences).
- 3+ years of experience in clinical/scientific research, nursing, or medical devices/pharmaceutical industry.
- 1+ years of clinical monitoring experience.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Intermediate level of competence in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to travel 30-60% of the time to research laboratories, hospitals, and conferences.
- Ability to work effectively on teams and manage multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as site manager to ensure accurate data entry, timely query resolution, and high-quality reported data.
- Participate in site monitoring functions including qualification, initiation, routine monitoring, and final closeout.
- Monitor ongoing compliance to study protocols and global regulatory guidelines at research sites.
- Manage device accountability, inventory, distribution, and complaint/malfunction processing.
- Maintain project timelines and prepare routine operations reports.
- Assist in the development and distribution of study-related documents including CRFs, protocols, and manuals.
- Provide mentoring to junior clinical staff regarding protocols and monitoring processes.
