- Experience building high-traffic web services in Go
- Knowledge and understanding of distributed, highly available, and scalable cloud-based systems
- Knowledge and understanding of architecture and patterns for complex web services
- Experience designing and implementing RESTish APIs
- Experience working with containers and CDNs
- Strong understanding of web application security and network architecture
Responsibilities
- Design backend services and the API layer for a multi-tenant streaming service
- Implement full customer-facing and enterprise-facing web server backend operating at scale
- Architect web applications with a focus on security
- Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot issues
- Enhance existing codebases to improve global performance, scale, reliability, and maintainability
