Requirements
- Seasoned experience in software, platform, integration, or infrastructure engineering.
- Hands-on programming proficiency with a general-purpose language like Python.
- Experience building with APIs, webhooks, structured data, and automation platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud services, event-driven architectures, containers, and CI/CD.
- Practical experience with AI/LLM systems, including model APIs and retrieval or tool-use patterns.
- Solid identity and security fundamentals (OAuth, SSO/SCIM, secrets management, least-privilege).
- Proven track record of technical ownership of operational platforms (CLM, CRM, service-desk).
- Ability to translate legal and policy requirements into technical controls and workflows.
- Strong systems thinking and data judgment capabilities.
- Experience with AI governance or information governance in a legal context.
- Familiarity with AWS serverless, GitHub Actions, and production AI evaluation (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Independently own Legal AI systems from technical design through implementation, testing, and production.
- Architect integrations across CLM, CRM, intake, and identity systems using APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
- Develop governed AI plugins and single-job agents that consume approved source content.
- Instrument the tech stack for reliability, auditability, model cost, and operational telemetry.
- Apply production controls for SSO/SCIM, secrets management, access logging, and incident handling.
- Design and maintain CI/CD workflows, automated tests, runbooks, and system documentation.
- Partner with Legal AI Analysts and stakeholders to optimize system behavior and data quality.
