Requirements
- Significant experience supporting multi-country and/or global payroll operations.
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, or relevant professional background.
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, taxation, and internal controls.
- Experience managing payroll audits and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, and spreadsheet-based analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
- Proven leadership and mentorship experience.
- Professional written and spoken English.
- Ability to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks.
- Experience implementing or optimizing payroll platforms and HRIS systems (nice-to-have).
- Payroll management experience in publicly traded or pre-IPO companies (nice-to-have).
- MBA or other relevant business degree (nice-to-have).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR, Accounting, Treasury, and external providers to support payroll operations.
- Manage end-to-end multi-country payroll operations to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Establish and maintain payroll controls to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Perform payroll and salary cost analyses and investigate variances.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external payroll audits.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory changes impacting payroll and tax compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll scalability and the employee experience.
- Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of global payroll professionals.
