Requirements
- 8+ years of experience across data platform, ML platform, or developer-tooling.
- Proven experience as the senior technical voice for a major data/ML/AI surface.
- Production experience architecting LLM systems including agents, evals, RAG, MCP, and tool use.
- Deep expertise in dbt and cloud data warehouses, with a preference for Snowflake.
- Experience defining semantic layers, metadata, and data modeling standards.
- Track record of driving wide-team consensus on technical direction.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts via blog posts, talks, or OSS contributions.
- Comfortable debugging complex issues involving LLMs, data modeling, and system design.
Responsibilities
- Set the strategy for AI-reshaped analytics, reporting, and self-serve data access.
- Manage tool selection, administration, and architecture for AI workflows including Claude on Snowflake, MCP servers, and agent workflows.
- Design eval and guardrail systems to ensure the reliability and accuracy of agent-driven reporting.
- Define governance for analytics use cases to ensure impactful and controlled data access.
- Collaborate with analytics engineering to refine dbt and Snowflake models for AI consumption.
- Lead the development of semantic and context layers including metric definitions and metadata.
- Mentor team members on AI-assisted analytics and represent technical direction externally.
