Requirements
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or applicable behavioral health discipline.
- Current Nevada Department of Health (NV DOH) independent license (LCSW, CPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
- Two or more years of direct experience with adolescents and adults in behavioral health.
- Crisis intervention training and experience.
- Experience with suicide prevention (strongly preferred).
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
- Knowledge of social determinants of health and mental health disorders.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with sound judgment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Medicare or Medicaid practices (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based individual, joint family, and parent/guardian teletherapy for youth (ages 12–26) at high risk of suicide.
- Administer validated risk assessment tools (e.g., C-SSRS) and lead safety planning and crisis stabilization.
- Manage monthly acuity and risk stratification to adjust care frequency and treatment goals.
- Direct clinical safety strategy in collaboration with Care Team Members and Crisis Center.
- Serve as the licensed clinician for high-acuity escalations and rapid safety plan updates.
- Complete high-integrity clinical documentation to substantiate medical necessity and maintain Medicaid compliance.
- Coordinate community resources, referrals, and individualized plans of care.
