Requirements
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or applicable behavioral health discipline.
- Current Nevada Department of Health (NV DOH) independent behavioral health license (LCSW, CPC, or LMFT).
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience working with adults in behavioral health.
- Experience with severe mental illness.
- Knowledge of social determinants of health, mental health, substance use disorders, and interpersonal violence.
- Ability to manage caseloads and make autonomous clinical decisions.
- Proficiency in clinical risk stratification and crisis management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal relationship management skills.
- Ability to use and maintain EMR systems for documentation and charge submission.
- Familiarity with Medicare or Medicaid practices (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group teletherapy using modalities like CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Administer clinical assessments to measure acuity, track progress, and adjust treatment plans.
- Coordinate care as clinical lead within an integrated care team to address medical and behavioral needs.
- Perform real-time risk assessments, safety planning, and crisis stabilization for high-acuity events.
- Maintain high-integrity clinical documentation (DAP format) within 24 hours of services.
- Leverage multi-platform technology to maintain high-frequency member engagement.
- Engage with caregivers and community-based organizations to build support networks.
