Requirements
- Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (ASA/FSA).
- Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA).
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in actuarial, healthcare finance, population health, analytics, consulting, or operations.
- Strong understanding of Medicare Advantage economics (medical cost trends, utilization management, risk adjustment, or value-based care).
- Advanced SQL and Excel skills.
- Experience using Python or R.
- Experience using business intelligence platforms and modern AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing senior analysts or finance professionals.
- Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead the MA Plan Command Center operating model, including governance, portfolio management, and execution tracking.
- Develop and evolve enterprise performance monitoring frameworks using KPIs and leading/lagging indicators.
- Integrate operational, actuarial, and financial performance into actionable recommendations for executive leadership.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across Finance, Actuarial, Clinical, Revenue, and Pharmacy departments.
- Scale command center capabilities through automation, process standardization, and AI-enabled analytical methods.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of financial operations and actuarial professionals.
