Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience, with a preference for B2C, consultative, or high-empathy sales environments.
- Experience selling directly to families or individuals navigating healthcare, financial, or legal decisions.
- Experience building referral networks with healthcare providers, social workers, or discharge planners.
- Must reside in one of the following priority markets: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX, Atlanta, GA, Tampa, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Austin, TX, Orlando, FL, Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, Las Vegas, NV, Knoxville, TN, Indianapolis, IN, Greenville, SC, Chattanooga, TN, Memphis, TN, Oklahoma City, OK, Houston, TX.
- Deep understanding of the local healthcare and senior care landscape.
- Ability to connect with families in crisis and earn trust quickly.
- Hunter mentality and self-starter capability to manage a remote, autonomous environment.
- Clear, warm, and persuasive communication skills across phone, video, and in-person settings.
- Ability to manage a multi-stage pipeline of referral development and client prospects simultaneously.
- Resilience and comfort working with families facing emotionally difficult circumstances.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a high-value referral network across your assigned territory, including SNFs, hospitals, and elder law attorneys.
- Position the firm as the preferred Medicaid planning resource for healthcare referral partners.
- Attend state healthcare association events and senior care conferences to build visibility.
- Establish communication workflows with Social Workers and Discharge Planners.
- Conduct discovery calls with families to understand their Medicaid situation and financial picture.
- Guide families through the enrollment decision by addressing cost and eligibility concerns.
- Manage a pipeline of active prospects and follow up consistently.
- Onboard new clients and set expectations for the application process.
- Maintain touchpoints with referral partners to ensure ongoing referral flow.
