Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product sourcing, procurement, or new product development in e-commerce or consumer goods.
- Direct experience working with China- and Asia-based manufacturers and sourcing agents.
- Technical proficiency in reading and evaluating multi-component product specifications.
- Strong understanding of landed-cost structures and HTS codes.
- Proven track record of managing multi-variable deadlines including samples, artwork, POs, and compliance.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with private label or licensed retail brands is a plus.
- Familiarity with Amazon keyword, market research, and ROI tools such as Helium 10 or Jungle Scout is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Translate product concepts into technical specifications and target use cases.
- Conduct marketplace research, keyword analysis, and ROI evaluations to validate product viability.
- Source and vet manufacturing partners and agents across China and Asia.
- Calculate landed cost estimates including duties, tariffs, and HTS codes.
- Ensure all product certifications are secured before purchase order issuance.
- Coordinate sample requests, packaging design, and artwork against launch milestones.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from PO issuance to final commercial launch.
- Maintain proactive communication with Asia-based suppliers and agents.
