Requirements

- Experience supporting a thought leader, author, executive, coach, or consultant.
- Understanding of how to identify and pursue relevant media and speaking opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong copywriting skills, particularly for pitches and outreach.
- Excellent research and prospecting skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Highly proactive, resourceful, and capable of taking ownership.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Professional communication comfort with senior executives.
- Familiarity with AI tools for research and execution.
- Understanding of the US media, podcast, and thought leadership landscape.
Responsibilities
- Translate book launch goals into a clear marketing and PR plan with timelines.
- Research and proactively pitch journalists, media outlets, and newsletters for coverage.
- Identify relevant podcasts, manage outreach, and coordinate appearances.
- Research and pursue speaking engagements and events aligned with the author's expertise.
- Support the coordination of a potential multi-city speaking tour.
- Identify opportunities to position the author as a credible thought leader.
- Write compelling, personalized pitches, emails, and talking points.
- Track outreach, follow-ups, and deliverables to ensure schedule adherence.
- Leverage AI tools for research, content development, and efficiency.
