Job Details

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial science, or a related quantitative discipline.
Demonstrated exceptional analytical ability through professional work, coursework, or projects.
Progress toward an ASA designation is preferred.
Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam is considered a plus.
Strong ability to build productive relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills for explaining complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.
Highly self-directed, motivated, and dependable with strong ownership and follow-through.
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven consulting environment.
Demonstrated ability to implement improved processes and analytical approaches.
Insurance license may be required within six months of hire.

Lead analysis of medical and pharmacy utilization, unit costs, claims trends, and key expense drivers.
Provide in-person and virtual consultation to clients on employee benefits strategies including plan design and care models.
Develop claim projections, trend analyses, forecasts, and comparisons of funding mechanisms.
Review and prepare annual benefit plan renewals in collaboration with carrier underwriting and actuarial teams.
Build and enhance financial models, spreadsheets, and analytical tools for benefits decision-making.
Develop models to improve the accuracy of IBNR reserve projections.
Support the integration of data analytics across disability and life insurance benefits.
