Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems, with substantial hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance.
  • Strong accounting and finance knowledge, with practical understanding of financial processes, chart of accounts, dimensions, sales tax, banking, compliance, and related ERP functionality.
  • Experience across the full ERP delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution configuration, testing, training, documentation, troubleshooting, and support.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements, identify gaps, and translate them into practical and scalable ERP solutions.
  • Strong client-facing consulting skills, including the ability to present solutions confidently, influence stakeholders, manage expectations, and navigate difficult conversations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they affect project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of change management and the ability to support users through process and technology transformations.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25–40%, depending on client and project needs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand business processes, objectives, and finance requirements, identifying system fits, gaps, risks, and required levels of effort.
  • Lead and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Finance implementations, including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Configure and tailor ERP functionality to address client and industry requirements, including workflows, reports, dashboards, and finance processes.
  • Apply strong accounting and finance knowledge across areas such as chart of accounts, dimensions, sales tax, banking, compliance, and financial processes.
  • Develop test plans, coordinate user acceptance testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure solutions meet agreed requirements.
  • Train end users and administrators, clearly explaining system functionality and helping clients adopt new processes and tools effectively.
  • Communicate confidently with stakeholders, balancing client expectations with recommended system solutions and business best practices.
