Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of total professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, LESS, SASS, CSS.
- 5+ years of experience with React.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building scalable applications with Node.js using frameworks like Express.js or Nest.js.
- Experience building and utilizing REST APIs.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, DocumentDB, or MongoDB.
- Experience with Git and modern build tool chains/package managers.
- Experience working in agile environments using Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
- Ability to successfully obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance.
- Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand complex business and engineering challenges.
- Understand user needs and design end-to-end user experiences with practical, reliable, and efficient solutions.
- Design modern, scalable, and open-source solutions and architectures, including web applications and microservices.
- Collaborate with agile teams to design, develop, and deliver product features in an incremental and iterative manner.
- Explain complex solutions to various stakeholders in a simple and intuitive manner.
- Champion modern application development practices and mentor team members.
- Support test-driven development using automated testing tools.
- Explore alternatives and build prototypes to validate ideas and iterate concepts.
