Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of total professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, TypeScript, JavaScript, Bootstrap, LESS, SASS, CSS.
- 5+ years of professional experience with React.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience building scalable and resilient applications with Node.js.
- Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or Nest.js.
- Experience working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, DocumentDB, or MongoDB.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and AWS ecosystem (S3, ECS, RDS, Lambda, Parameter Store).
- Experience with agile tools including JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
- Proficiency in Git and modern build tool chains/package managers (webpack, npm, etc.).
- Test-driven development experience using frameworks like Jasmine or Protractor.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand complex business and engineering challenges.
- Understand user needs and design end-to-end user experiences with practical, reliable, and efficient solutions.
- Design modern, scalable, and open-source solutions and architectures (web apps, micro-services-based APIs, data stores) considering enterprise-level impacts.
- Explain complex solutions in a simple and intuitive manner to different stakeholders.
- Collaborate with multiple small teams to design, develop, and deliver product features in an incremental and iterative manner.
- Act as a champion for modern application development practices and mentor team members.
- Support test-driven development using various automated testing tools.
- Explore alternatives and build prototypes to validate ideas and iterate concepts.
