Requirements
- 10 or more years in sales compensation, incentive design, revenue operations, or sales finance.
- Depth in designing incentive plan structures, accelerator designs, and crediting rules.
- Experience with quota methodology at scale, including proration, ramp design, and attainability analysis.
- Advanced financial modeling skills to stress-test plan designs.
- Command of incentive compensation platforms and deep configuration logic knowledge.
- Fluency in Salesforce as a crediting and attainment source of truth.
- Experience in high-growth environments where the organization doubled.
- Proven ability to manage executive stakeholders and negotiate compensation strategy.
- Strong communication skills to present philosophy and resolve complex disputes.
Responsibilities
- Own incentive architecture design for quota-carrying, management, channel, and partner-facing roles.
- Set sales compensation philosophy and lead executive narratives on plan performance, cost, and risk.
- Design and implement complex crediting rules, including split structures and partner co-sell mechanics.
- Develop quota methodology, including proration, ramp design, and attainability analysis.
- Manage end-to-end SPIFF and short-term incentive programs within defined budget envelopes.
- Establish and publish a compensation decision rights framework and policy governance layer.
- Partner with Finance to streamline the onboarding-to-payment cycle and automate quota distribution.
