Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in partnerships and/or community building, ideally in workforce or career development.
  • Experience operating in small or scrappy organizations.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience managing relationships with senior or powerful stakeholders while holding boundaries.
  • Systems thinker with the ability to balance high-level strategy with granular administration.
  • Strong project management skills to drive deliverables to completion.
  • Substantive approach to work with a focus on being additive rather than noisy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and cross-sector environment.
  • Familiarity with Edtech and/or AI (preferred).
  • Interest in leveraging new tools to manage community engagement (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Manage AICD's day-to-day operations, including member onboarding, calendaring, and convening coordination.
  • Build and maintain systems for member connectivity, such as a knowledge hub.
  • Nurture the community by planning events, developing resources, and engaging members.
  • Interface with members to identify needs and facilitate feedback loops.
  • Project-manage grant-funded deliverables and coordinate benchmarking work with research partners.
  • Support the AICD lead by preparing slide decks, taking notes, and drafting communications.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective strategic members.
