Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory management, or supply chain (preferred).
- Understanding of basic procurement and supply-chain processes.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn inventory, procurement, and work-order management systems.
- Experience using inventory, ERP, purchasing, or work-order management software (preferred).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compare vendor pricing, availability, and lead times.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to comply with applicable OSHA and workplace safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review parts-to-be-ordered queues and ensure required materials are sourced and ordered in a timely manner.
- Request and evaluate vendor quotes based on price, availability, lead time, and operational requirements.
- Manage warehouse activities, including receiving, organizing, cycle counting, pulling, and shipping parts.
- Review and maintain the Generator Parts Dashboard and associated queues to monitor all open parts orders.
- Obtain vendor quotes and pricing information needed to develop commercial customer proposals.
- Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of rental generators and load banks.
