Requirements
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure including CLI experience and Azure DevOps.
- Strong proficiency in Terraform.
- Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and YAML.
- Experience with Harness and Artifactory.
- Experience designing, building, and deploying scalable cloud-based solution architectures.
- Experience with Serverless Computing and Azure Functions.
- Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration technologies.
- Experience with monitoring/alerting techniques and APM tools.
- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, with Go preferred.
- Understanding of IT security practices like IAM, SSO, data protection, and encryption.
Responsibilities
- Act as the department's Azure Subject Matter Expert for solutions, migrations, and subscription administration.
- Make architecture decisions at the platform level and identify reusable patterns.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and software delivery processes.
- Review Terraform code and Azure solution plans.
- Perform subscription-level administrative tasks to enable application deployments.
- Define high-level migration plans to address infrastructure gaps.
- Provide technical training and mentorship on Azure, Terraform, and GitHub tools.
- Consult on Azure native technology capabilities and cost estimation.
