Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience as a builder in international development, consulting, or agriculture.
- Experience designing and running randomized or quasi-experimental evaluations (RCTs, A/B tests).
- Proven track record of scaling organizations or programs to deliver impact, preferably with governments.
- Strong people management experience with the ability to set clear standards and empower teams.
- High EQ with the ability to influence diverse partners from researchers to government officials.
- Strong fluency with AI tools and willingness to adapt to emerging technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for synthesizing complex technical ideas.
- Comfort with ambiguity, fast iteration, and the ability to define and test hypotheses.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively internationally (~20%) to India and other LMICs.
- Experience in high-rigor environments such as management consulting or strategy research.
- Passionate about ensuring AI benefits reach populations living in poverty.
Responsibilities
- Own forecast message testing through A/B tests across format, framing, and delivery mechanisms.
- Scope and pilot new forecast delivery channels including chatbots, WhatsApp, SMS, and social media.
- Oversee the development of novel forecasts in partnership with academics and manage the associated research roadmap.
- Coordinate with in-country teams to implement monitoring and evaluation and identify program improvements.
- Lead cost-effectiveness analysis for agriculture programs and maintain the evidence base.
- Scope new portfolio directions including benchmarking and new intervention types.
- Manage relationships with academic institutions, research groups, and delivery partners.
- Develop and share public-good toolkits and best practices with the development sector.
