Requirements

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least three years' experience as a Product Manager in a multidisciplinary digital product team.
  • Experience with product discovery techniques including user research, data analysis, and hypothesis testing.
  • Proven ability to work with significant uncertainty or ambiguity.
  • Experience translating complex problems into clear priorities and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to make product decisions based on evidence, data, and constraints.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex decisions to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional groups with different needs and incentives.
  • Comfortable making decisions without perfect information.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team environment rather than working in isolation.

Responsibilities

  • Understand user needs, behaviors, and the organizational, operational, and technical context.
  • Shape product direction by translating organizational objectives into clear outcomes and priorities.
  • Practise continuous discovery by identifying assumptions and testing ideas through experiments and data.
  • Turn uncertainty into learning by framing hypotheses and designing small-scale experiments.
  • Make evidence-based product decisions weighing impact, effort, risk, and opportunity.
  • Measure success using both qualitative and quantitative evidence.
  • Work iteratively to deliver in small steps and adapt based on findings.
  • Communicate product thinking, evidence, and trade-offs to stakeholders with varying knowledge levels.
  • Create feedback loops via demos, reviews, and collaborative discussions.
  • Look beyond the product interface to understand how wider systems and processes impact user problems.
