Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product management roles.
- 4+ years of experience in payments or fintech, ideally on products operating at scale.
- Senior individual contributor experience owning complex problem spaces.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams through clarity and execution.
- Strong product judgment for decision-making in ambiguous situations.
- Experience working on critical, high-trust systems requiring high reliability.
- Ability to work deeply with engineers and designers on technical constraints and tradeoffs.
- Strong analytical habits with experience using metrics, dashboards, and instrumentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a distributed, async environment.
Responsibilities
- Own product direction and execution for a key part of the payments product area with clear goals and measurable outcomes.
- Improve merchant and shopper experiences across onboarding, checkout, refunds, disputes, payouts, and reporting.
- Raise the quality bar by reducing failures, minimizing friction, lowering support volume, and improving merchant trust.
- Use data and merchant feedback to define product priorities, success measures, and tradeoffs.
- Work closely with payments partners including Stripe and PayPal to improve integrations, ship changes, and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and support teams in a hands-on, executional capacity.
