Requirements
- Proven experience in product management with real business clients (e-commerce, marketplace, or merchant-facing platforms).
- Demonstrable experience in reverse-engineering and documenting legacy products without existing documentation.
- Experience working directly with codebases and UI to reconstruct business logic.
- Experience in product migration or decommissioning, including gap analysis and build-vs-reuse-vs-retire decision making.
- Ability to work effectively with ambiguous or incomplete input.
- Capable of building and managing a product backlog from scratch.
- Proficiency in English (B2 level) sufficient for professional communication and work.
- Willingness to travel.
- Knowledge of the French market or local merchant specifics is a plus.
- Experience managing stakeholders across engineering teams with differing priorities is a plus.
- French language proficiency (B1 level) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Reconstruct comprehensive documentation for legacy merchant-facing applications, including user flows, validation rules, data dependencies, and integrations.
- Perform gap analysis on documented features to evaluate coverage against the target platform.
- Prioritize and provide recommendations for features (build vs. reuse vs. retire).
- Design and manage merchant migration processes from legacy systems to new platforms.
- Collaborate with target platform Product Managers to integrate decommissioning into the 2027-2030 roadmap.
