8+ years of experience building high-scale, mission-critical backend systems
Deep expertise in concurrency, event-driven architectures, and consistency primitives
Experience with systems where code correctness has direct financial impact like metering or billing
Strong experience with relational and NoSQL data models
Experience designing policy- or rules-driven systems
Proven track record of technical leadership through influence across multi-team platforms
Familiarity with monitoring, SLOs, and root-cause analysis in production environments
Hands-on experience with Node.js and Go in production services
Experience with streaming and analytical stores for time-windowed aggregation
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with stakeholders like Finance and Risk

Redesign and optimize data models, queries, and indexing strategies across MongoDB, Firestore, and ElasticSearch
Own ElasticSearch reliability including ingestion, indexing, shard strategy, and query performance
Eliminate bottlenecks and improve system reliability, replication health, and predictable query latency
Define data flow and integration boundaries between storage, cache, and APIs
Build comprehensive observability for data paths including metrics, traces, and cluster health dashboards
Enforce unit, integration, and load testing standards across all backend modules
Drive technical engineering culture through RFCs, ADRs, and design reviews
Lead by technical example through hands-on coding, system design, and production debugging
Mentor engineers through code reviews, feedback, and technical guidance
