Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience in sales operations, business analysis, commercial operations, finance, reporting, analytics, or a related business function.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and analysis of large datasets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze business data and translate findings into actionable commercial insights.
- Strong attention to detail and experience managing process-driven work where accuracy and quality control are critical.
- Experience with territory alignment, territory management, sales operations, customer hierarchy management, or sales compensation is preferred.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce, or comparable business intelligence and reporting platforms as an end user is desirable.
- Understanding of field sales organizations, sales performance metrics, forecasting, and commercial reporting is an advantage.
- Experience gathering business requirements and incorporating stakeholder feedback into process improvements is preferred.
- Experience working with large customer, account, or commercial datasets, particularly within a highly regulated or matrixed organization, is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Lead territory alignment auditing, validation, and research across commercial teams, ensuring territory assignments and customer hierarchy data remain accurate, consistent, and reliable.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify discrepancies, alignment issues, business impacts, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain and enhance Excel-based tools, audit processes, reporting methods, and operational workflows supporting territory management.
- Partner with Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, Compensation, and other stakeholders to evaluate territory changes and inform commercial decision-making.
- Prepare recurring reports and business analyses that communicate key findings, risks, trends, and recommendations to commercial leadership.
- Support territory planning and ongoing maintenance for a customer hierarchy encompassing more than 23,000 accounts.
- Gather business requirements and conduct voice-of-customer analysis to identify opportunities to improve commercial processes, reporting, and operational effectiveness.
- Monitor data quality and recommend solutions that strengthen reporting accuracy, governance, efficiency, and overall sales operations performance.
