Requirements
- 3–8 years of experience in real estate capital markets, private equity, CRE lending, or investment banking.
- Proven hands-on experience with US commercial real estate debt.
- Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets, including debt waterfall modeling.
- Working knowledge of US credit agreements and loan documentation.
- Experience with institutional underwriting standards for real estate.
- Ability to synthesize complex underwriting into actionable executive memos.
- Must be able to maintain a minimum 6-hour daily overlap with US Central Time.
- Experience with VBA or Power Query is a strong plus.
- Ability to walk through specific details of past US commercial real estate deals.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite and structure construction, bridge, and mezzanine financing for specific US assets.
- Build financial models for DSCR, LTV, LTC, IRR, and debt yield, including stress-testing.
- Recommend project funding strategies balancing cost of capital, risk, and timeline.
- Manage relationships with US lenders and institutional capital partners.
- Drive the due diligence and loan closing process.
- Monitor portfolio debt maturity and maintain oversight of covenant compliance.
