Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, finance, or a closely related role.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and pattern-recognition skills.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
- Ability to investigate discrepancies, question assumptions, and reconcile financial data.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving business requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders.
- High level of ownership, initiative, independence, and problem-solving ability.
- Experience supporting pricing decisions (preferred).
- Experience in startups, high-growth businesses, or lean teams (preferred).
- Experience working closely with accounting or bookkeeping teams (preferred).
- Experience building or improving financial planning processes from the ground up (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain monthly financial tracking across the business.
- Support annual and ongoing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Analyze spending trends and provide clear insight into financial allocations.
- Conduct pricing-related analysis and support data-driven business decisions.
- Partner with bookkeeping and accounting teams to validate and ensure data integrity.
- Investigate financial inconsistencies, gaps, and discrepancies.
- Translate financial information into structured reports, models, and analysis.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and planning support to senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial visibility and reporting processes.
- Help establish and refine FP&A frameworks.
