- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching mathematics in New Zealand classrooms (Grades 7–10)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) with a focus in mathematics education.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching mathematics in New Zealand classrooms (Grades 7–10).
- In-depth knowledge of the New Zealand Mathematics curriculum.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Openness to giving and receiving feedback.
- Ability to prioritise work that will have the highest impact.
- Comfortable using technology and digital tools.
Responsibilities
- Review digital textbook content including worksheets, lessons, teacher materials, interactive questions, and assessments for New Zealand Mathematics curriculum alignment.
- Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement to both student-facing and teacher-facing materials.
- Communicate regularly with a team of content writers to support the creation of quality instructional content.
- Identify areas of weakness within each course.
- Recommend improvements based on the needs of New Zealand classrooms.
