Requirements
- Expert-level Java 8+ experience, including Spring Boot, Guava, and Netty.
- Strong professional experience designing large-scale distributed backend systems.
- Experience with production multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Deep knowledge of microservices architecture, API design, and inter-service communication.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols including REST, SOAP, GraphQL, and gRPC.
- Proficiency with message brokers and event-streaming technologies like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Strong SQL expertise and experience with NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or DynamoDB.
- Practical experience with CI/CD, DevOps tooling, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Experience with observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger).
- Comfortable working with Linux command-line environments and OS concepts.
- Advanced Git experience with branching strategies and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance, fault-tolerant connector integrations and adapters.
- Architect and develop distributed microservices using cloud-native patterns.
- Build and optimize data pipelines supporting REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC, and event-driven patterns.
- Drive technical decisions for critical subsystems and contribute to architectural reviews.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and distributed tracing for system observability.
- Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and SRE teams to deliver capabilities and resolve production incidents.
- Champion engineering best practices through code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.
- Mentor junior engineers in system design, architectural patterns, and coding practices.
