Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong professional experience in software development and production systems.
- Solid experience with cloud-based applications and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating caching solutions such as Redis or Valkey.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment and operational management.
- Practical experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with observability tools such as Grafana or Splunk to monitor and troubleshoot production systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions using Core Java, Kafka, caching technologies, APIs, and other modern engineering tools.
- Build and evolve cloud-native applications supporting high-throughput transaction processing, with a strong focus on reliability, scalability, maintainability, and operational performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code that follows established engineering standards and contributes to a sustainable software architecture.
- Participate actively in code reviews, collaborating with other engineers to identify improvements, maintain coding standards, and ensure consistently high-quality implementations.
- Troubleshoot production and development issues efficiently, using application logs, metrics, traces, and other observability tools to identify root causes and restore reliable service.
- Work with containerized environments and orchestration technologies to support the deployment and operation of modern cloud-based applications.
- Contribute to event-driven architectures using Kafka and develop solutions involving distributed caching technologies such as Redis or Valkey.
- Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, adapting across different technology stacks and contributing to the evolution of engineering practices and solutions.
